Our blog is about the field of Supply Chain Management, which focuses on the overseeing of the process of the exchange of goods and services from buyer to seller and all the other distribution that takes place in order to get goods shipped from where it was built, to the distributor to seller and then into our homes. Our focus will not be only on this process but will cover a much broader sense of what this segment of business really is. We will talk about salaries, different avenues that can be taken inside the supply chain towards a variety of job choices, we will also talk about how this field interacts with other fields and how they work together in order to make this cycle of business keep flowing. Supply chain management is a huge up and coming career and is predicted to continue getting bigger, hopefully, as we further increase our international trade. This blog will consist of 3 editors: Justin, Jordan and Adam.
Adam is from Pittsburgh, PA and is a freshman at Michigan State University. He plans on applying to the Eli Broad College this spring. At the moment he is just a business-preference major, but his end goal is to be a Supply Chain Management major.
Jordan is from St. Clair Shores, MI and is a sophomore at Michigan State University. He is also a business-preference major, but plans on applying to the Eli Broad for next fall and following somewhere into the Supply Chain and maybe marketing major field.
Justin is from Kalamazoo, MI and is currently a freshman at Michigan State University. He plans on majoring in Supply Chain Management, and applying to the Eli Broad College next year.
